funmi is fabulousness on stilts. period. yes, we watch her show for the content (the woman is FIERCE! love her!) but we'll have to admit that we're always on the lookout for what she's wearing, too! and boy does she BRING IT! here she is at an event in lagos:

now, when we think of the 'shirt dress', we think laidback/oversize/'i just threw this on'/'this totally belongs to my dad/brother/boyfriend' but funmi's look offers us an alternative - the dressed up shirt dress, complete with belt, pockets, and contrast buttons. she keeps her accessories simple, chic, and minimalistic and while we're partial to the more laidback options of the shirt dress, we can't say we're not inspired! here are some other celebrities and their shirt dress looks, courtesy of good ol' google:
