These new pieces from House of Makeda's Aso-Ebi collection attest to the versatility of African Print/Ankara. Just when you think you've seen it all, you haven't yet. The first piece above features a medley of ankara, velvet and aso-oke, while the second is a leather vest trimmed with print. While Jewel by Lisa has incorporated leather in her work, this is the first time we've seen velvet introduced into the mix and we LOVE it.
