spotted: dr. precious moloi-motsepe @ audi joburg fashion week

stumbled on this photo of dr. precious moloi-motsepe, chairperson of africa fashion international, on the first day of audi joburg fashion week winter 2010. doesn't she look ravishing? what a gorgeous color. because we have photographic memories (no pun intended) when it comes to things like this, we immediately noticed she wore the same outfit at new york fashion week last september [we know, we know - we're clearly under-utilizing our brains]:

twice as nice! while some folks get up in arms about certain people not being able to wear the same thing twice, we're all for re-rocking...and looking even better the next time around ;-) fashion can be so infuriatingly pretentious. gosh.

wanted: onna ehrlich's "rachael"

we've been loving this purse looong time...and in our bid to support our fellow africans and invest in more quality pieces, we just might be ready to take the plunge. versatile, roomy, leather -- what's not to love? granted, $650 is a little much but then again, quality seldom comes at rock bottom prices. this purse comes in a variety of colors but we're leaning towards the cognac one above. it's a lovely shade of brown to have handy. which do you prefer?

that said, take a close look at these photos:

notice anything? yes, ifeoma looks stunning in all-black and mo abudu looks ravishing in her red issa london dress and louboutins. notice anything else? hint: look at their necks. yuuuup, they're wearing the same necklace! lol. a little more background - ifeoma williams is mo abudu's stylist so it's totally possible that she thought the necklace might spice things up for Mo and thus let her borrow it for a day. or maybe they own the same necklace. that's not the point. we're sitting here with piles of work and in the interest of procrastination (YAY!), we want to know - WHO RAN IT? yes, that's where we were going with all this, lol. and the award for best use of the black layered necklace goes to...
